Marking a milestone in a place like Saguache County often means wanting something that feels set apart from ordinary days. Many people who live in this high, open corner of Colorado think about the sea only in pictures, so a trip to the Caribbean can feel like a real change of scene. A villa at the Westin St John Resort on St. John gives a celebration room to breathe, with space to gather everyone together in one home base. The island itself is quiet in a way that suits a special occasion. Days can move slowly, and the pace is set by you rather than by a crowded calendar. St John Condos handles villa rentals on the Westin property, so you can plan a slow, personal celebration that fits the people you care about most.

Planning a milestone trip from Saguache County
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which is the usual airport for reaching St. John. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, and a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay. Plan for that final leg with your luggage in mind, and keep your celebration plans flexible in case the connections need a little patience.
- Choosing when to leave. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many families from Saguache County find the Virgin Islands especially welcome during those months. Think about which season suits your guests and your schedule. Talk with the St John Condos team about what the island is like at different times of year before you settle on dates for your celebration.
- Planning the stay. Villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, which gives a milestone group room to settle in and enjoy each other. Decide early how many people are coming and what kind of gathering you want. Driving on St. John is on the left, so take that into account if you plan to get around by car.
