The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Coventry Lake, Connecticut, plan a milestone celebration on St. John, with villas at the Westin St John Resort rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels separate from ordinary life. For many people in Coventry Lake, that means a long stretch of warm water and quiet mornings far from the cold of a New England winter. Anniversaries, big birthdays, and retirements all ask for a setting that slows the pace and gives everyone room to breathe together. Renting a villa at the Westin St John Resort lets you shape that time on your own terms. Instead of fitting into a hotel routine, you settle into a home base with space to gather, cook, and linger over a celebration. Our team can talk through what suits your group before you commit, so the planning feels calm rather than rushed.

Planning your milestone from Coventry Lake
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which is the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little extra room for the transfers, especially if you are traveling with older relatives or several suitcases, so the start of your celebration stays easy and unhurried.
- Choosing when to leave. Coventry Lake sits in a state with cold winters, so many travelers from Connecticut look toward the islands during the colder months when the change in weather feels the most welcome. Think about your milestone date, school calendars, and everyone's work schedules, then choose a stretch that gives the whole group time to relax rather than just a brief break.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives a milestone celebration room to unfold without constant packing and unpacking. Decide early who is coming, what kind of gatherings you want, and whether you will need a quiet space for rest. Share those details with our team so the villa you choose fits the day you have in mind.
