Planning a first Caribbean trip from Brookmont

  1. Getting to St. John. Most visitors from the Maryland area fly to St. Thomas, which is airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. It is a simple sequence, and it helps to keep your documents and luggage tags handy as you move between each stage of the journey.
  2. Choosing when to go. Brookmont sits in a region with cold winters, so many travelers from here look forward to the islands during those months. Think about what you want from the week, whether that is calm water, quiet afternoons, or a livelier stretch of the year. A short conversation with the St John Condos team can help you match the season to your plans.
  3. Planning your stay. Villa Rentals at the resort are booked by the week, which gives a first-time visitor room to settle in without rushing. Consider how many people are traveling, whether you want a car, and remember that driving on St. John is on the left. Ask the local team any questions before you commit, so the stay fits the way you like to travel.
