The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps friends from Wiscon, Florida plan a relaxed week together at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals set up before you book. Ask the local team anything about the stay first.
A week away with friends works best when everyone has room to spread out and still meets for breakfast on the same terrace. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give your group a home base with separate bedrooms, a shared living area, and space to relax between days on the water. For a group leaving Wiscon, that kind of setup often feels easier than booking several hotel rooms that sit far apart. Florida already has a warm climate, so many travelers from Wiscon find the islands feel familiar in some ways and new in others. The pace is slower, the scenery is lush and hilly, and driving happens on the left. Planning a week with friends means agreeing early on who handles which details, from groceries to the ferry crossing, so the trip feels like a shared adventure rather than a list of chores.

Getting from Wiscon to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and that is the usual starting point for a trip to St. John. Coordinate your flights with your group so everyone lands within a comfortable window. From the airport, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John.
- Pick your departure season. Florida winters are mild by comparison, but the islands have their own rhythm, so think about when your group can take the same week off. Travelers from northern states often choose the calmer months for a beach stay, while those from Florida may prefer a shoulder period. Agree on dates together before anyone books anything.
- Plan the villa stay. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort are booked by the week, which suits a group that wants to settle in. Share the bedroom assignments, grocery plans, and a rough daily schedule before you arrive. Contact the St John Condos team with questions, and they will help your group sort the details before you commit.
