The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Gilcrest plan a milestone celebration on St. John, rented by the week at the Westin St John Resort area. Ask the local team before you book.
A milestone deserves a place that feels like a true departure from ordinary days, and a villa on St. John can offer exactly that. Gilcrest sits on the high plains of northern Colorado, where winters are cold and the landscape is wide open. Many travelers from this part of the country find the Caribbean warmth and quiet shoreline a welcome change. Here, the pace slows and the days are yours to shape. Villa rentals suit a celebration because they give your group room to gather, cook a meal together, and step outside without a crowd. St John Condos is a local team, and they will walk you through the choices before you commit. Tell them the occasion, the number of guests, and the feel you want, and they will help you think it through with patience and honesty.

Planning Your Celebration from Gilcrest
- Reaching the Island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, airport code STT, then take a taxi to Red Hook and catch the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Plan for a few connections from Colorado and build in a little slack, so the last leg of the journey does not feel rushed. Once you land, the trip becomes relaxed and easy to enjoy together.
- Choosing Your Timing. Think about when your milestone falls on the calendar and how the weather in Colorado compares with the islands. Winter months back home are often the reason people choose to travel south. Pick dates that suit your group, then let the local team confirm availability before you settle on a plan.
- Planning the Stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives your celebration room to breathe. Decide early who needs a bedroom, how many meals you want to share, and whether you plan to drive yourselves. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so take a moment to adjust before you head out.
