The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Firestone plan a quiet week to unwind in a villa at the Westin St John Resort, and the local team is glad to answer questions before you book.
Firestone sits in the northern part of Colorado, where winters bring cold air and snow to the Front Range. After a long season of early mornings and crowded calendars, many residents find themselves wanting something very different: warm water, slow days, and room to simply sit still. A villa stay at the Westin St John Resort is built around that kind of pace. Villa Rentals at the resort give you a private home base rather than a hotel room, with space to spread out and your own routine. You can read on a porch, cook a simple meal, or walk down to the water without a plan. St John Condos is a local team that talks through the details with you, so the week can feel calm from the first conversation.

Planning a quiet week from Firestone
- Reaching St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has its own airport, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep in mind that driving on the island is on the left, so many guests prefer to rely on taxis or to arrange a rental car with care. Plan your connections with some slack so the start of the week stays relaxed.
- Choosing your timing. Colorado winters are cold and dry, which makes the Caribbean warmth especially welcome from the middle of winter into spring. Many travelers from the Mountain West choose the cooler months of the islands for steady sunshine and gentler humidity. Think about what kind of rest you want, whether that is quiet shoulder weeks or a stretch when you can settle in without a rush. A short conversation with the team can help you match the season to your mood.
- Planning the stay. Villa Rentals are booked by the week, which suits a true unwinding trip. Decide early whether you want to cook at home, bring a book list, or leave time with no plans at all. Share your arrival day and any needs with St John Condos before you book so the villa and your travel fit together. Keep the schedule loose, and let the island set the rhythm for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is a villa a good choice for a solo or couple's quiet trip from Firestone?
