The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Deep River Center, Connecticut, plan a long-awaited splurge on St. John, where villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week and the team answers questions before you book.
A trip to St. John is often something people talk about for years before they book it. For many travelers from Deep River Center, the island stays on the list through busy seasons at work and family obligations until the moment finally feels right. This page is written for that kind of planning, when a stay is meant to feel like a true splurge and every detail deserves a careful look. Connecticut winters are cold, so the appeal of warm water and a slower pace on a Caribbean island is easy to understand. A week in a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives you room to spread out, cook a meal, and rest without rushing from one place to the next. Villa Rentals suit travelers who want privacy and space, and our team is glad to talk through which option fits the trip you have in mind.

Planning your splurge from Deep River Center
- Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan this leg with care, since it is the only part of the trip where you are moving between islands. If you plan to drive once you arrive, remember that traffic on St. John keeps to the left, which can feel unfamiliar at first.
- Choosing when to go. Leaving Connecticut in the colder months often makes the warm Caribbean setting feel especially welcome. Think about the weeks you can truly step away from work and home, and consider whether a quieter stretch of the year suits the kind of rest you want. Our team can help you weigh those choices before you commit.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, so decide early how long you want to stay and which villa fits your group. Think about how you will spend your days, whether you want time by the water, quiet mornings on the terrace, or simple meals at home. A clear plan makes the splurge feel intentional rather than rushed.
