The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Candlewood Knolls, Connecticut, plan a milestone celebration on St. John at a villa near the Westin St John Resort. Villas are rented by the week, and the local team answers questions before you book.

A milestone deserves a setting that feels separate from ordinary life, and for many people in Candlewood Knolls that means a warm island where the days are slow and the evenings are unhurried. Connecticut winters are cold and gray, so a trip to the Caribbean can feel like a clear break in the calendar. Whether you are marking an anniversary, a big birthday, or a retirement, the goal is usually the same: time together with nothing urgent on the schedule. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you that kind of setting with more room than a standard hotel room. A villa offers space to gather family or close friends, a place to cook a simple dinner, and privacy when you want it. St John Condos is a local team, so you can talk through what matters to your group before you commit to anything.

Planning your celebration from Candlewood Knolls

  1. Reaching the island. Most visitors from Connecticut fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little extra time for the ferry connection, and keep bags light enough to carry comfortably on the dock.
  2. Choosing your travel window. Think about what kind of celebration you want before picking dates. Some people prefer the drier stretch of the year for outdoor dinners, while others want the quieter season for a more relaxed pace. Share your preferences with the team, and they can help you line up a villa and a week that suits the occasion.
  3. Shaping the stay. Decide early who is coming, how many bedrooms you need, and whether you want a private cook, a planned dinner, or simply a kitchen for slow mornings. Keep in mind that St. John drives on the left, so anyone renting a car should plan for that. A clear plan lets the celebration feel effortless rather than scrambled.
