The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos can help travelers from Broad Brook, Connecticut, plan a milestone celebration at a villa at the Westin St John Resort. Ask the local team anything before you book, and they will walk you through the options.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels like a break from ordinary routines. For many people in Broad Brook, a winter trip to the Caribbean offers that contrast, with warm water and open air after a long northern season. The Westin St John Resort on St. John gives a celebration a quiet, personal setting, and the villa rentals there let a group spend its days together rather than in separate hotel rooms. Planning a celebration from a northern town means thinking early about travel, guest lists and how much time everyone can set aside. Let the occasion shape the plan: a shared dinner on a terrace, a slow morning with coffee, or a few days with nothing scheduled. St John Condos is happy to talk through which villa suits your group and what a celebration there might look like, before any commitment is made.

Planning a celebration trip from Broad Brook
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan for a short hop on the island roads afterward, remembering that driving on St. John is on the left, which may feel unfamiliar at first. Ask the team how the transfer works for your group size.
- Choosing when to leave. Connecticut winters are cold, so many people from Broad Brook choose the islands during the colder months for the change of weather. Think about your milestone date and whether you would rather arrive a little early to settle in or keep the trip tight around the event. Share your dates with the St John Condos team and they can help you weigh the options before you lock anything in.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a celebration that deserves more than a single night. Decide early who is coming, whether you want a private chef or simple meals at home, and how you will mark the occasion itself. A clear plan for the days around the milestone keeps the focus on the people you came to celebrate.
