The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Somerset plan a milestone celebration in villas at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, US Virgin Islands, with a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels separate from everyday life, and for many people in Somerset, the stretch of Colorado they know is mountains, high air, and long dry seasons. St. John offers something quite different: warm water, green hillsides, and a slower pace that lets a celebration unfold without rush. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you room to gather close friends or family around a shared table. Planning from a distance can feel uncertain, especially when the celebration matters to you. The team at St John Condos works from the island and is happy to talk through what your group needs before anything is booked. You can ask about layout, what the villa is like day to day, and how the stay is arranged, so the decision feels considered rather than hurried.

Planning Your Milestone from Somerset

  1. Reaching St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Once you arrive, plan on driving on the left side of the road if you rent a car, since the island follows that custom. Building in a little slack for the transfers keeps the first day relaxed and gives everyone a calm start.
  2. Choosing Your Season. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many people from Somerset find the islands especially welcome in those months. The Caribbean stays warm year round, which means your celebration can happen whenever your calendar allows. Think about the milestone itself, the people you hope to bring, and how much flexibility your group has. Settling on a window early makes it easier to plan around work, school, and travel.
  3. Planning Your Stay. Villa Rentals are typically booked by the week, which suits a milestone celebration well because there is time to settle in and enjoy each day. Consider how many guests you expect, what kind of meals you want to share, and whether you prefer quiet mornings or lively evenings. Reach out to St John Condos with those details, and the team can help you think through the arrangements before you commit.
