The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos can help travelers from Sherrelwood, Colorado, plan a long-awaited island splurge, with villas at the Westin St John Resort rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

Sherrelwood sits in the Rocky Mountain West, where winters bring snow and the mountain air stays dry and cool for much of the year. For many travelers from here, a trip to the Caribbean is the kind of plan that gets talked about for years before it finally happens. It becomes less a vacation and more a deliberate reward, something saved toward and looked forward to. A splurge like this deserves a place that feels like your own. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you a home base with room to spread out, cook a slow breakfast, and step outside into warm water and quiet mornings. Planning it carefully, from the first booking to the last evening, turns a long-held wish into a trip that actually feels worth the wait.

Planning your island escape from Sherrelwood

  1. Reaching St. John. Most visitors from Colorado fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, then take a taxi to Red Hook and catch the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay. Plan your arrival day with a little slack, since island travel tends to move at its own pace. If you plan to drive once you are on St. John, remember that traffic keeps to the left.
  2. Choosing your season. Colorado winters are long and cold, which is exactly why many families from Sherrelwood aim their island trip for the coldest months back home. The islands stay warm year round, so the real question is crowds and comfort. Talk with the St John Condos team before you commit, and they can help you match your dates to the kind of stay you have pictured.
  3. Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a splurge well because you can settle in rather than rush from place to place. Think about what you want the days to hold: beach time, lazy meals on the patio, or simply the quiet of your own space. Share your plans with the St John Condos team and they will help you think through the details ahead of booking.
