The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Brighton, Colorado, plan a milestone celebration at a villa at the Westin St John Resort, with a local team ready to answer questions before you book.

Brighton sits on the high plains north of Denver, where the winters are cold and the sky is wide. Many families who live there save a special trip for a big life moment, and a Caribbean island can feel like a true change of scene after a long Colorado winter. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give a celebrating group room to spread out, cook together, and keep the pace slow. Planning a trip from a landlocked state takes a little more thought than a short drive. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, take a taxi to Red Hook, and board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Once you arrive, a rented villa gives you a quiet home base, so the celebration can center on your own people rather than on a crowded schedule.

Everything here is meant to save you time.

Planning your milestone trip from Brighton

  1. Getting to the island. Most travelers from Brighton fly to St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, and the passenger ferry crosses to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little buffer time on arrival day so the group can settle in without rushing. Keep your confirmation details handy, and let the St John Condos team know your arrival plans so they can help you prepare.
  2. Choosing the season. Colorado has long, cold winters, so many people from Brighton are drawn to island weather during the colder months at home. Think about what matters most for your celebration, whether that is calm seas, a quieter stretch of the year, or a time when your family can easily get away. Talk with the St John Condos team about timing before you commit, since they can speak to what to expect at different points in the year.
  3. Planning the stay. Villa rentals are booked by the week, which suits a milestone trip well. Decide early how many guests you are bringing, what kind of celebration you want, and whether you plan to cook at home or eat out. Keep one or two unplanned days so the trip can breathe. Drive on the left if you rent a car on St. John, and ask questions early so nothing about the stay surprises you.
