The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos can help travelers from Raymer (New Raymer), Colorado, plan a long-awaited splurge at a villa on St. John, rented by the week and set within the Westin St John Resort. Their local team answers questions before you book.

For many people in Raymer (New Raymer), a trip to the Caribbean is something they have talked about for years before they finally commit. Colorado sits in the high plains and mountain West, where winters are cold and open skies are the norm, so an island with warm water and a slower pace can feel like a real change of scenery. Planning a trip like this takes some care, and it is worth giving yourself time to think it through. A villa rental suits travelers who want more room than a standard hotel room offers. You can cook a meal, spread out in a living area, and step outside on your own schedule. St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort by the week, and the team there is glad to talk through what each option includes before you book, so you can decide with clear expectations.

Planning your island escape from Raymer (New Raymer)

  1. Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas (STT) and then take a taxi to Red Hook, where a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan for a short connection and keep your travel documents close at hand. Once on St. John, remember that driving is on the left side of the road, so take a moment to adjust if you plan to rent a car.
  2. Choosing when to go. Colorado winters are cold, which is why many travelers from Raymer (New Raymer) look toward the islands during the coldest months. The Caribbean stays warm year round, though rain and busy holiday periods vary. Think about the weather you want, your work calendar, and how much you value quiet beaches compared with lively seasons, then pick the window that fits you best.
  3. Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, decide how many days you truly want before you look at dates. Consider which meals you will cook, how many people are traveling, and whether you want the resort setting or a quieter stretch. Write down your priorities, then send your questions to the St John Condos team, who can help you match the villa to your plans.
