The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos can help couples in Pine Brook Hill, Colorado, plan a quiet island getaway at a villa at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, before you book.

Pine Brook Hill sits in the mountain West, where many couples spend their days among high country air and wide open skies. A trip to a Caribbean island offers a clear change of scene, with warm water, slower mornings, and time to simply be together. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give two people a private base to return to after a day of walking, swimming, or doing nothing at all. The appeal for couples often comes down to space and pace. A villa rented by the week lets you cook a quiet breakfast, sit on your own terrace, and set your own schedule without the bustle of a crowded hotel floor. For travelers used to dry mountain winters, the lush, humid island setting can feel like a welcome reset, and the choice to stay in one place for a week suits a relaxed couples trip well.

Planning your island trip from Pine Brook Hill

  1. Reaching St. John. Most visitors from Pine Brook Hill fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, plan on a taxi ride to Red Hook, then take the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your travel documents handy and allow some flexibility, since island connections can shift with weather and schedules.
  2. Choosing the right season. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many couples from Pine Brook Hill find a Caribbean stay especially welcome during those months. Warm weather holds across the year on the islands, though the wetter seasons bring more showers. Think about what kind of trip you want, whether sunny and dry or quieter and greener, and plan your dates around that.
  3. Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, a longer stay gives you time to settle in and really enjoy the island. Think about how you want to spend your days, whether that means exploring trails and beaches or simply lounging by the pool together. Talk with the St John Condos team early so you can match the villa to your plans and your travel dates.
