The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort to travelers from Palmer Lake, Colorado, who want a quiet, unhurried place to mark a big moment together. Our local team answers questions before you book, so you can plan with confidence.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels different from home, and for many travelers from Palmer Lake, Colorado, that means a tropical island with warm water and slow mornings. Palmer Lake sits in the mountain West, where winters are cold and snowy, so the contrast of a Caribbean island can make a celebration feel especially memorable. Whether you are marking a wedding anniversary, a big birthday, or a retirement, a villa gives your group room to gather, cook together, and simply be present. Villa rentals suit celebrations well because they offer privacy and space that a standard hotel room often cannot. You can linger over breakfast, invite close family for a quiet dinner, or spend an afternoon with nothing on the calendar. St John Condos is a local team, and we are glad to talk through what your milestone requires before you commit to anything, from the number of bedrooms to the kind of view you have in mind.

Planning Your Celebration From Palmer Lake
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little buffer in your day so the connections feel relaxed rather than rushed, especially when you are traveling with a group that includes older relatives or young children.
- Choosing Your Dates. Think about when your milestone falls and whether it lines up with the seasons you enjoy most. Colorado's winters are long and cold, so many travelers from Palmer Lake welcome a warm escape during those months. Consider the weather you prefer, the pace of your schedule, and how far ahead your guests can commit, then share those details with us so we can suggest what fits.
- Planning the Stay. Rentals are booked by the week, which gives your celebration room to breathe. Decide early who is coming, how you want to split time between shared meals and private moments, and whether you want a car. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so take that into account if you plan to explore. Then ask us anything about the villa before you book.
