Planning your island splurge from Morgan Heights

  1. Reaching St. Thomas. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a flexible connection on your return, since Colorado weather can affect flights out of the mountains, and keep your ferry and taxi arrangements simple so the start of your trip feels relaxed.
  2. Choosing your travel season. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many travelers from Morgan Heights look forward to escaping to the islands during the colder months at home. Think about when you want warm air, when you want fewer crowds, and how your work or school calendar fits. Our team can talk through the season that suits your priorities before you commit.
  3. Planning the stay. Book a villa for the full length of your stay, since villas are rented by the week and that rhythm suits a splurge well. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so take a moment to get comfortable before heading out. Think about what matters most to you, whether that is quiet mornings, shared meals, or time at the water, and let that guide how you spend your days.
