The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Eckley, Colorado, plan a long-awaited splurge at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals offered by a local team that answers questions before you book.

Some trips take years of talking about before they finally happen. For many travelers from Eckley, a stay on St. John is that kind of trip, a chance to step away from a dry, high-elevation landscape and into warm Caribbean water. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you room to spread out, cook a few meals, and slow down on your own schedule. Because Eckley sits in the West, far from the ocean, the journey itself becomes part of the appeal. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, then take a taxi to Red Hook and catch the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Plan that route with care, and the arrival feels like a reward rather than a chore after the trip is done.

Planning your St. John splurge from Eckley

  1. Getting to St. John. Most travelers from Eckley fly to St. Thomas, which is the usual gateway to the islands. From the airport, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry crosses to Cruz Bay on St. John. Pack light for the boat ride, keep your documents within reach, and confirm your ferry plans before you leave home so the last leg runs smoothly.
  2. Choosing when to leave. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many people from Eckley choose to head for the islands during the coldest months at home. Consider the season when you set your dates, and remember that the Caribbean stays warm year round. A splurge trip often feels most rewarding when it lands in the middle of a long, chilly stretch back in the mountains.
  3. Planning the stay. Villa Rentals are typically booked by the week, which suits a trip you have been dreaming about for a long time. Think about how you want to spend your days, whether that means quiet mornings on the terrace or exploring the island by car. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, and let the St John Condos team know your plans so they can help you choose the right villa.
