Planning Your Trip From Calvert Beach
- Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Couples from Calvert Beach often find this two-part route easy once they know what to expect. Plan your connections with a little extra room so the ferry is not a rushed step.
- Choosing your timing. Think about the season before you choose your dates. Maryland winters are cold, so many couples from Calvert Beach look forward to the warm Caribbean weather during those months. Consider what kind of days you want, whether that means quiet mornings, relaxed afternoons, or long evenings outdoors, and let that guide when you leave home.
- Planning the stay. Once you have dates, look at Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort and think about how you want to spend your days. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, which may feel unfamiliar at first. Send your questions to the St John Condos team before you book, and they will help you choose a villa that fits your plans.
