The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Blende, Colorado plan a milestone celebration in a villa at the Westin St John Resort, with local answers before you book.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels separate from ordinary days. For many people in Blende, Colorado, that means leaving the high dry air of the West behind and settling into a quieter place with warm water and open views. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give a group room to gather, cook together, and take the celebration at an easy pace rather than a crowded one. Planning from Colorado is mostly a matter of sequence. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, take a taxi to Red Hook, and catch the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay, where driving on the left becomes the first small adjustment. Because villas are rented by the week, you can match the length of your stay to the occasion, and our team is glad to talk through the details before you commit.

Planning your celebration from Blende
- Reaching the island. From Blende, most travelers fly to St. Thomas, which is the usual gateway for St. John. From the airport a taxi carries you to Red Hook, and the passenger ferry completes the crossing to Cruz Bay. Plan your connections with a little slack, since island travel rewards a relaxed attitude, and let the group know the order of the legs before anyone sets out.
- Choosing your timing. Colorado winters are cold and snowy, so many families from Blende find the islands especially welcome in the colder months. Think about the date of your milestone first, then consider how much warmth and rest you want around it. Weigh school calendars and work obligations together, and settle on a window that gives everyone a real break rather than a rushed one.
- Planning the stay. Villa rentals suit celebrations because they offer shared space, a kitchen for quiet breakfasts, and room for everyone to spread out. Decide early who is coming, how many bedrooms you need, and whether the group wants a planned dinner or a loose schedule. Send those answers to our team, and we will help you choose a villa that fits the occasion.
