The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Asbury Lake, Florida, plan a milestone celebration at a villa near the Westin St John Resort on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Our local team answers questions before you book.
A milestone deserves a setting that feels separate from ordinary days. For a family coming from Asbury Lake, Florida, the Caribbean offers that sense of distance without requiring a long list of complicated arrangements. Many visitors fly into St. Thomas and then cross to St. John, so the trip itself becomes part of the occasion, with a little time to settle in before the celebration begins. Villa rentals suit a gathering of people who want room to spread out, a kitchen for quiet mornings, and a space that belongs to the group for the length of the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives a celebration a relaxed rhythm instead of a rushed one. Our team can talk through which layout fits your party before anything is booked.

Planning a milestone trip from Asbury Lake
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors from Florida fly into St. Thomas, which is the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan for the transfers together so that the group arrives relaxed, with luggage and everyone accounted for before the first evening.
- Choosing when to go. Florida visitors often think about the calendar first, since school, work, and family commitments shape a milestone date. The islands stay warm through most of the year, so the real question is which weeks suit your guests. Share your preferred dates with our team, and we will help you weigh what the season offers against the rest of your plans.
- Planning the stay. Consider how many guests will sleep in the villa, whether everyone wants a pool, and how much of the week you want planned versus open. Driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone taking the wheel should expect that. Settle these details early, and the celebration itself can stay the focus.
