The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps couples from Willow Oak, Florida, plan a relaxed island getaway at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals that give you room to unwind together. Ask the local team anything before you book.

Willow Oak sits in the Southeast, where long, warm evenings are part of everyday life. Still, a stretch of time with only your partner, away from routine, can feel like a different kind of rest. St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, offers that quiet, with turquoise water, hillside views, and a slower pace that many couples find hard to reproduce closer to home. Staying in a villa changes the feel of a trip. Instead of a hotel room, you get a space to cook a simple breakfast, sit on a private terrace, and decide each day how much you want to do. Our Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are built for that kind of unhurried stay, and our team can help you match one to the way you and your partner like to travel.

Planning a couples trip from Willow Oak

  1. Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep in mind that driving on the island is on the left, so many couples prefer to arrange their own transport or ask our team for suggestions before they arrive.
  2. Choosing when to go. Florida's own climate is warm for much of the year, so the islands may not feel dramatically different at first. Think about what you want from the trip instead: a quieter season for fewer crowds, or a busier one for more activity. Our team can talk through the seasonal feel of St. John so you can pick the window that suits you as a pair.
  3. Planning your stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives couples room to settle in rather than rush between sights. Decide early whether you want a slow itinerary of beach mornings and quiet dinners, or a few planned outings. Share your preferences with our team, and we will help you choose a villa layout and location that fits your plans.
