The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos, a local team on St. John, helps travelers from Bartow plan a milestone celebration in a villa at the Westin St John Resort, and they answer questions before you book.
Bartow sits in central Florida, where summers run warm and humid and the year moves at a steady, familiar pace. Many people who live here decide that a big anniversary, a retirement, or a landmark birthday deserves more than a restaurant reservation. A milestone is a good reason to step away from routine and spend unhurried days together somewhere that feels like a true change of scenery. A villa rental suits that kind of celebration well. Instead of sharing hallways and shifting schedules, your group gets a home base with room to gather, cook a quiet breakfast, or simply sit outside and talk. Villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, which gives you space to slow down and let the occasion feel as important as it is.

Planning your milestone from Bartow
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little slack into your travel day, since connections and ferry timing can shift, and keep your confirmations handy so the last leg of the trip stays calm.
- Choosing when to go. Florida has its own seasons, and the islands follow a different rhythm. Think about when your milestone falls and which weather suits your group, whether that means a quieter stretch of the year or a time when the family can all be free. Mention your preferred dates when you reach out, and the local team can talk through what the calendar looks like.
- Planning the stay. Decide early who is coming, how many bedrooms you need, and what you want the days to hold, whether that is a slow morning on the terrace or a dinner everyone remembers. Driving on St. John is on the left, so think about how you will get around. Send your questions to St John Condos before booking, and they will help you match the villa to your celebration.
