The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Dundee, Florida plan a milestone celebration at their villa rentals on St. John, a short ferry ride from St. Thomas. Their local team answers questions before you book.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels separate from ordinary life, and a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives you that. Because the island sits well away from the mainland, the days tend to move at their own pace. You can spend mornings on a quiet terrace and evenings wherever the mood takes you, with the whole week shaped around the people you are celebrating with. Travelers coming from Dundee often find that Florida's warm climate makes the Caribbean feel familiar, though the islands bring their own rhythm, with trade winds, bright water, and a slower sense of time. Villa Rentals suit groups and families who want space to gather, cook together, and toast the occasion without rushing from one scheduled event to the next. St John Condos can walk you through which villa fits your group before you commit.

Getting from Dundee to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from Florida fly into St. Thomas, which is the airport you will use for the Virgin Islands. Once you land, a taxi can take you to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry departs for Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with some room to spare, since island ferry schedules are fixed and worth building around rather than against.
- Pick your departure window. Florida's own seasons matter here. Many travelers from Dundee choose a window when the weather at home is least inviting, so the change of scenery feels like a reward. Weigh the calendar of your celebration against the island's own rhythms, and let your St John Condos contact help you match the villa dates to the moment you want to mark.
- Plan the stay around the occasion. Book your Villa Rentals by the week so the celebration has room to breathe. Consider how many guests you have, whether you want a private pool, and how you will get around, since driving on St. John is on the left. Share your milestone details with the St John Condos team and they will help you settle the small logistics so the focus stays on the people you came to celebrate.
Frequently asked questions

Is a villa better than a hotel room for a celebration?
