The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos can help travelers from Temple Terrace, Florida, plan a week of snorkeling and beach days from a villa at the Westin St John Resort. Ask the local team before you book and they will walk you through the details.
Temple Terrace sits in central Florida, where the warmth of the Gulf and Atlantic coasts is never far from mind. Many families and friends who live here already love the water, so a week on St. John can feel like a natural next step. The island offers calm bays, clear water for snorkeling, and quiet beaches that suit people who want their days to move at an easy pace. A week built around the sea works best with a home base that gives you room to rest. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you a private place to return to after a morning in the water, with space to spread out and plan the next day. Because villas are rented by the week, the schedule fits a true vacation rather than a rushed trip, and you can settle in without thinking about checkout every other night.

From Temple Terrace to a snorkeling week on St. John
- Getting to the island. Most visitors from Temple Terrace fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where the passenger ferry crosses to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little slack in your connections, since island travel rewards a relaxed attitude. If you rent a car on the island, remember that driving is on the left.
- Choosing your dates. Florida travelers often think about the calendar before anything else. Islands in the Caribbean have seasons that shift the feel of the water and the air, so it helps to look at the general climate before you pick a week. Talk with the St John Condos team about which weeks suit snorkeling and beach time, then choose dates that match your school, work, or family schedule.
- Planning your stay. Settle on a villa early, since a week-long rental gives you the most room for snorkeling trips and lazy afternoons. Think about gear, sunscreen, and reef-safe habits before you leave home. Ask the team any questions about the villa, its location, or what to pack, and they will answer them honestly before you commit to anything.
