The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Scaggsville, Maryland, plan a milestone celebration at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals that give your group room to gather together on the island.

A milestone is worth marking with the people who matter most, and for many families and friends in Scaggsville, a trip to St. John offers a setting unlike any at home. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give your group private space to share meals, toast the occasion, and simply enjoy one another without the usual rush of a hotel stay. Planning Your Celebration From Scaggsville

  1. Reaching the Island. Most visitors from the Scaggsville area fly into St. Thomas, which is the usual gateway to St. John. From the airport, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Plan for a little extra luggage handling, and let your group know the arrival steps ahead of time so everyone feels settled when you land.
  2. Choosing Your Timing. Think about when your milestone falls and how the Maryland calendar fits around it. Northern winters make the islands an appealing escape, while other seasons may suit a quieter stay. Pick dates that work for the guests you most want to bring, and check with the St John Condos team about availability for villa rentals before you finalize plans.
  3. Planning the Stay. Villas are rented by the week, so consider how many days your group wants to spend together and how you will use the space. Choose a villa that fits your party, arrange any celebratory touches in advance, and remember that driving on St. John is on the left. Having a clear plan for the days ahead keeps the focus on the occasion.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose villa rentals for a milestone celebration rather than separate hotel rooms?

A villa keeps your group together under one roof, with shared living space for conversation, meals, and quiet moments. For a celebration, that closeness matters. Everyone can gather without walking between rooms, and the arrangement suits multi-generational families or groups of friends who want to mark the occasion as one party.

Can the St John Condos team help me plan around a specific anniversary or birthday date?

Yes. Tell the St John Condos team the date you have in mind and roughly how many guests you expect. They can explain which villa rentals might suit your group and whether your dates are open. Asking early gives you the best range of choices before you book with confidence.
