The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Paramount-Long Meadow, Maryland, plan a milestone celebration on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, and the local team answers questions before you book.
A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels separate from ordinary days. For many travelers in Paramount-Long Meadow, Maryland, that means leaving a familiar mid-Atlantic winter behind and choosing a quiet island with warm water and a slower pace. St. John suits that kind of trip because it stays small, green, and unhurried, and the setting does much of the celebrating for you. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give a celebration room to breathe. Instead of a shared hallway and a crowded dining room, you have your own space to gather friends or family, cook a quiet breakfast, and decide each morning what the day should hold. Because villas are rented by the week, the trip can be planned around the occasion rather than squeezed into a short weekend.

Planning your milestone trip from Paramount-Long Meadow
- Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan this leg with a little slack so the celebration starts relaxed rather than rushed, and let the local team know your arrival plans.
- Choosing the season. Maryland winters are cold, so many travelers from Paramount-Long Meadow pick a warmer stretch of the year for an island escape. Think about what the celebration needs: calm seas for a boat outing, quieter weeks for intimate dinners, or a livelier feel for a larger group. Pick the window that fits the guest list best.
- Setting up the villa. Once you have chosen dates, reserve your Villa Rentals early and tell the St John Condos team what you are celebrating. They can help with bedroom count, group size, and the details that matter most for a milestone. Driving on St. John is on the left, so consider who will handle the rental car.
Frequently asked questions
Is a villa a good choice for a small milestone party?
Often it is. A villa gives your group a private base for shared meals, quiet conversation, and celebrations that do not need to be scheduled around other guests. The St John Condos team can talk through bedroom counts and layout so you know what the space offers before you book.
What should I know before booking from Paramount-Long Meadow?
Plan your travel through St. Thomas, then the taxi and ferry to Cruz Bay. Keep in mind that Maryland winters are cold, so an island trip often feels most welcome in a warmer season. Reach out to the local team before booking with any questions about dates or group size.
