The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, helping families from New Port Richey East, Florida plan a villa stay at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.
Florida families often think of the islands as a long-awaited change of pace, and a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives a family room to spread out. Instead of squeezing everyone into a hotel room, you can settle into space that feels like home while still being close to the water. Villa Rentals at this resort are rented by the week, which suits families who want time to unwind rather than rush from place to place. For travelers from New Port Richey East, the planning starts well before the trip itself. Think about who is coming, how much room everyone needs, and what kind of days you want to have. Some families want slow mornings and easy afternoons, while others plan active outings. A villa lets you mix both, with a kitchen for simple breakfasts and room to gather at the end of the day.

Planning a family trip from New Port Richey East
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. If you plan to drive on the island, remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so take a moment to get comfortable before heading out with the kids.
- Choosing when to travel. Florida families can often find the islands pleasant at many points in the year, but the season you pick shapes the feel of the trip. Think about school calendars, how you handle heat and rain, and whether you want a quieter stretch. Your local team at St John Condos can talk through the options with you before you commit.
- Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, a family can build a rhythm into the trip rather than packing in too much. Decide early which days are for the beach, which are for rest, and which are for exploring. Reach out with questions about bedrooms, layout, and what is included so there are no surprises when everyone arrives.
