The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos can help travelers from Holiday, Florida, plan a milestone celebration on St. John, where villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week. Their local team answers questions before you book.
Marking a milestone in Holiday often means wanting something different from an ordinary getaway, a place that feels personal and unhurried. A villa rental at the Westin St John Resort gives you private space to gather family or close friends, with room to slow down and enjoy the moment together. Villa Rentals on St. John suit groups who want their own kitchen, living area and outdoor seating rather than a crowded hotel floor. Florida's warm climate makes the Virgin Islands feel familiar, though the setting is quite distinct. St. John is a small island, and the pace is gentle by design. You can plan a few shared meals, a quiet morning on the water and an evening toast without a tight schedule. Our team at St John Condos is glad to talk through what your celebration needs before you commit to anything.

Getting from Holiday to St. John
- Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from the Holiday area fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, the departure point for the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with room to spare, especially if you are traveling with older relatives or with luggage meant for a celebration.
- Pick your departure window. Florida's cooler months are a comfortable time to leave for the islands, while the warmer stretches bring heavier humidity and a higher chance of tropical weather. Choose dates that fit your milestone rather than the calendar alone. Our team can point out which periods suit your group, so your celebration is set for good conditions from the first morning.
- Plan the stay in detail. Villa Rentals are booked by the week, so think about who is coming, how many bedrooms you need and whether you want a private pool or ocean views. Share your guest list and any special plans with us. Driving on St. John is on the left, so consider the rental car logistics early, and let us handle the details that keep your celebration relaxed.
Frequently asked questions
Is a villa better than a hotel room for a milestone celebration?
For most groups, yes. A villa gives everyone space to gather, cook together and spread out, while still offering resort access at the Westin St John Resort. Hotel rooms work well for solo or couple trips, but a villa tends to feel more like a shared home for a special occasion.
Do I need to book far ahead from Florida?
Booking early is wise for a milestone, since villas are rented by the week and popular dates fill up. Contact the St John Condos team before you book. They can explain availability and help you choose a stay length that suits your group and your plans.
