The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos can help travelers from Miramar Beach, Florida, plan a milestone celebration on St. John, with villas at the Westin St John Resort rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.
A milestone deserves a setting that feels unhurried and personal, and many couples and families from Miramar Beach find that a villa suits that goal better than a standard hotel room. Florida's warm climate means you already know the feeling of sun and salt air, but the Virgin Islands offer a different rhythm, with clear water and a slower pace that makes a celebration feel like its own occasion. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you room to gather the people who matter most, whether that is a small group of old friends or an entire family. You can cook breakfast together, spread out on a private terrace, and keep your plans as loose or as full as you like. Our team is glad to talk through what you have in mind before you commit to anything.

Planning your celebration from Miramar Beach
- Reaching the island. Most visitors from the Miramar Beach area fly into St. Thomas, which uses airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your documents and bags simple for this stretch, since you will be moving between vehicles and boats, and it helps to confirm the details with our team before you travel.
- Choosing your timing. Florida's own seasons may shape when you feel like leaving for the islands, but the Virgin Islands have their own patterns of warmth and rain. Think about the date of your milestone first, then look at the general climate you prefer. Our team can talk you through which weeks suit a relaxed celebration and help you line up a villa rental that fits those dates.
- Shaping the stay. Once your dates are set, decide who is coming and how you want the days to feel. A villa gives everyone space, so you can plan a quiet morning, a shared dinner at home, or an open schedule with no fixed plans. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone who will take the wheel should plan accordingly. Ask us about layouts and arrangements before you book.
