The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Leesburg plan a long-awaited island splurge, with villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort on St. John in the US Virgin Islands, and the local team answers questions before you book.
For many people in Leesburg, a trip to the Caribbean is something held in mind for years before it finally happens. Florida is a warm state, yet the islands offer a different kind of warmth, with clear water, a slower pace, and a sense of being far from ordinary routines. Planning a splurge like this means thinking carefully about where you will stay and how you want your days to feel. St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort, so you can settle into a private home base rather than a standard hotel room. Villa rentals are booked by the week, which gives a long-planned trip room to breathe. If you are weighing the choice, our local team is glad to talk through what fits your plans before you commit.

Planning your island splurge from Leesburg
- Reaching the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Once you arrive, remember that driving on the island is on the left, so take a moment to adjust before heading out on the roads.
- Choosing your timing. Florida is warm for much of the year, so the appeal of the islands may be more about the change of scene than the weather. Think about when you can be away from work and family without strain. Shoulder periods often suit a splurge well, and our team can help you weigh the timing against your own calendar.
- Planning the stay. Because villas are rented by the week, you can build your trip around a slower rhythm of mornings on the terrace and unhurried afternoons. Consider what you want from the stay, whether that is space for a family, quiet for two, or a base for exploring. Share those details with the St John Condos team and they will help you match a villa to your plans.
