The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos is a local team that rents villas at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, US Virgin Islands, and answers questions before you book, which suits travelers from Lafayette County, Florida, looking for a winter escape from the cold.

If you live in Lafayette County, winter can feel like a long stretch of grey skies and chilly mornings, even in a state known for its warmth. Many people here find themselves wishing for a change of scenery when the season turns. St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, offers the kind of steady warmth and clear water that makes a winter break feel like a real reset rather than a quick trip. St John Condos rents villas at the Westin St John Resort, so you can settle into a private home base instead of a standard hotel room. Villa Rentals are booked by the week, which gives you room to slow down and let the island set the pace. Our local team is glad to talk through what you need before you commit, so the plan feels right from the start.

Getting from Lafayette County to St. John

  1. Reaching the islands. Most visitors reach St. John by flying to St. Thomas, airport code STT, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. It is a simple sequence once you know it. Plan a little extra room in your day for connections, and keep your bags light enough to manage on the ferry.
  2. Picking the right time. Think about when you want to leave Florida for the islands. A winter departure offers a strong contrast with the cold weather you are leaving behind. Consider how far ahead you want to book, and whether you prefer a quieter stretch of the season or a busier one with more activity around you.
  3. Planning the stay. Once your dates are set, look at the villa that suits your group and your pace. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, so think about how you want each day to unfold. Ask our local team any questions about the property, and remember that driving on St. John is on the left.
