The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and they can help travelers from Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, plan a quiet week of unwinding in a villa at the Westin St John Resort. Villas are rented by the week, so the stay can be as slow as you like.

For many people in Hillcrest Heights, the idea of a quiet week away is more appealing than a packed itinerary. Maryland winters can be long and gray, and a few days somewhere warm, with the sound of water and few obligations, can feel like a real reset. St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, is a place where that kind of slow pace comes naturally. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you room to spread out, cook a simple meal, and keep your own schedule. Most visitors reach the island by flying into St. Thomas, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. A week is a comfortable length for that kind of unhurried stay, and our team is glad to talk through what would suit you.

Planning a quiet week from Hillcrest Heights

  1. Getting to St. John. Most travelers from the Hillcrest Heights area fly to St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep in mind that driving on the island is on the left, so many guests prefer to rely on taxis for their first few days.
  2. Choosing when to go. Because Maryland experiences cold winters, many travelers from the region look toward the cooler months of the year to escape the chill. Think about what kind of week you want, whether that is quiet mornings, long afternoons, or simply a break from routine, and let that guide your dates. Our team can help you weigh the options before you commit.
  3. Planning the stay. Villa Rentals are booked by the week, which suits a true unwind. Decide early how much you want to plan and how much you want to leave open. Tell our team about your group, any mobility needs, and what matters most to you, so the villa and its surroundings fit the rest you came for.
