The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos can help travelers from Conway, Florida, plan a milestone celebration on St. John, where villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week. Our local team answers questions before you book, so you can settle the details with confidence.

A milestone is worth marking somewhere that feels different from an ordinary weekend, and many families from Conway choose a Caribbean island for exactly that reason. The warm water, the green hills and the slower pace of St. John make it easy to step back and focus on the people you are celebrating. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give your group room to gather, cook together and spend unhurried mornings on the terrace. Florida gives you a head start, since the state's climate already feels familiar and the beach habit is part of daily life. What changes on St. John is the sense of distance from routine, the quiet evenings and the view across the water. Planning the trip early keeps the focus on the celebration itself rather than on logistics, and the local team at St John Condos is glad to walk through options before you commit.

Getting from Conway to St. John

  1. Reach St. Thomas first. Most visitors from Conway fly into the airport on St. Thomas, which is the usual gateway to the islands. From there you take a taxi to Red Hook, then board the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little extra time for the transfer so the whole group arrives relaxed and ready to celebrate.
  2. Pick the right season. Florida winters are mild, but the Caribbean is most comfortable in its drier months, so think about when your milestone falls. Shoulder seasons often suit groups who want calm beaches and easier planning. Tell the St John Condos team your dates and they will help you weigh the options before you book a Villa Rental.
  3. Plan the stay in advance. Choose a villa with enough bedrooms, outdoor space and parking for everyone you are traveling with. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so consider whether you want a car or prefer to stay close to the resort. Ask the team about rental terms and what the villa includes so nothing catches you off guard.

Frequently asked questions

Is a villa better than a hotel room for a celebration?

For many groups, yes. A villa offers separate bedrooms, a kitchen for shared meals and a private outdoor space where guests can gather. The rental is by the week, which suits longer celebrations. The St John Condos team can explain what each villa offers so you can match it to your group.

Can I get help before I book from Conway?

Yes. The St John Condos team is a local group that answers questions before you book, including questions about travel from Florida, the ferry from Red Hook and which villa suits your party. Reach out with your plans and they will help you understand your options clearly.
