The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for travelers from Chesapeake Landing, Maryland, planning a long-awaited splurge, we can help you choose a villa rental at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.

A splurge that has been on the calendar for years deserves more than a quick search. If you live in Chesapeake Landing and have been saving the idea of a Caribbean villa for a milestone, you are likely thinking about space, privacy, and a stay that feels like your own rather than a hotel room. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort fit that goal well, because a villa gives you a kitchen, separate rooms, and a place to unwind at your own pace. Maryland's climate sets the mood for this kind of trip. Winters there are cold and gray, so arriving on an island where the air is warm and the water is clear can feel like a real reset. Many travelers from the Chesapeake area also enjoy knowing they can stretch out over a full week rather than cram everything into a short visit, and villas are rented by the week, which suits that plan neatly.

Planning Your Splurge From Chesapeake Landing

  1. Getting From the Area. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, plan on a taxi to Red Hook, then take the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ask us about the connection that fits your travel dates, since the ferry and taxi pieces are worth confirming before you leave home so the transfer goes smoothly after a long flight.
  2. Choosing When to Go. Think about the season before you commit. Leaving Maryland in the depths of winter makes the islands especially appealing, while late spring and early fall can offer a comfortable mix of weather and quieter days. Consider which weeks of the year matter most to your group, then let us help you line up a villa rental that holds those dates before your plans start to shift.
  3. Planning the Stay. Decide early how you want to spend your days, whether that means slow mornings with coffee on a private terrace or a few planned outings around the island. Because driving on St. John is on the left, you may prefer to arrange transportation in advance. Tell us what matters most for your week, and we will help you match your expectations to the right villa before you book.

Frequently asked questions

For many travelers, yes. A villa gives you separate living space, a full kitchen for quiet breakfasts, and the freedom to set your own schedule. Villas are rented by the week, so you can settle in and enjoy the stay rather than packing and moving around. Our team can walk you through the layouts so you can pick the one that suits your celebration.

Start with the dates you have in mind, how many people are traveling, and whether you want a quieter setting or easy access to the resort.
