The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps couples from Whiskey Creek, Florida, plan a relaxed island escape, with villas at the Westin St John Resort rented by the week so you can settle in together at your own pace.

Whiskey Creek sits in the Southeast, where the warm months stretch long and the sun does much of the work for you. Many couples here look for a getaway that feels like a real change of scene rather than a short weekend, and a villa rental on St. John can offer exactly that kind of unhurried stay. The island is quiet compared with busier resort towns, and the pace tends to slow the moment you arrive. Choosing a villa over a standard hotel room means more space to share, a kitchen for slow breakfasts, and a place that feels like your own for the length of the trip. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are booked by the week, which suits couples who want time to rest rather than rush between sights. Our team is glad to talk through what might fit your plans before you commit.

Planning Your Trip From Whiskey Creek

  1. Reaching the Island. Most visitors from Florida fly into St. Thomas, the STT airport, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with a little slack so the transfer feels relaxed. If you rent a car on the island, remember that driving is on the left, which may take a moment to get used to.
  2. Picking Your Season. The Caribbean stays warm across much of the year, while Florida winters bring a chill that makes an island escape especially welcome. Many couples prefer the quieter stretches when the crowds thin and the water feels calm. Think about what you want most, whether that is sunshine, a lower-key atmosphere, or simply an easy break from the cooler months back home.
  3. Setting Up Your Stay. Choose a villa suited to two, then consider how you want your days to unfold. Some couples plan one active outing and leave the rest open for lounging. Reserve early for the dates you care about, and let our team know what matters most to you as a pair. We will help you match the villa and the schedule to the kind of getaway you have in mind.

Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are booked by the week, so you can settle in and avoid the feeling of packing up every few days. Tell us what you enjoy and we will help you judge whether it suits you.

Do I need to plan a rental car once I arrive on St. John?

It depends on how you like to explore. Some couples enjoy having a car for the freedom to drive around at their own pace, while others prefer to stay put and take things slowly.
