The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Westwood Lakes, Florida, plan a milestone celebration at a villa at the Westin St John Resort, and the local team is glad to answer questions before you book.

Marking a milestone with the people you love often calls for a setting that feels separate from ordinary life. For many travelers from Westwood Lakes, a Caribbean island with warm water and a slower pace fits that wish. A villa gives your group room to gather on your own schedule, whether the plan is a quiet dinner, a long breakfast on the terrace, or a few days of doing very little together. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort are a practical way to make that happen. Villas are rented by the week, so you can settle in, unpack, and let the celebration unfold without rushing from one stop to the next. Our team is a local group, and we can talk through what your gathering needs before anything is booked, so the trip you imagine is the one you get.

Planning Your Trip from Westwood Lakes

  1. Reaching St. Thomas. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, using the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with the day of your celebration in mind, so the arrival feels relaxed rather than hurried, and let your group know the ferry is the final leg.
  2. Choosing Your Travel Window. Florida travelers have easy access to warm weather at home, so think about what the island adds. Many people pick a season that suits their group, such as a stretch when they can get away from work and school commitments. Consider when your milestone falls, and talk with our team about which weeks are likely to suit your party and your plans.
  3. Setting Up Your Villa Stay. Once the dates are settled, decide how your group will spend its days. Some want a full schedule of outings, while others prefer lazy mornings by the water and a long dinner at home. Note that driving on St. John is on the left, which may take a little getting used to. Share your guest list and celebration details with us so we can help you prepare.

Frequently asked questions

Is a villa a good choice for a milestone celebration with a larger group?

Often it is. A villa keeps everyone together under one roof, with shared space for meals, toasts, and quiet conversation. Because villas are rented by the week, you can plan around your own rhythm rather than around a hotel schedule. Tell our team how many people are coming and what the celebration involves, and we can help you think through whether a villa suits the gathering.

Do I need to arrange anything before I travel from Westwood Lakes?

It helps to settle your dates, your guest count, and how you plan to reach St. Thomas and the ferry to Cruz Bay before you book. Our local team answers questions before you commit, so you can ask about the villa, the stay, and any details for your celebration. Reaching out early gives you more room to shape the trip around the occasion.
