The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos helps travelers from Waukeenah, Florida, plan a quiet week on the island, with villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort that are rented by the week and answered by a local team before you book.

Waukeenah sits in the northern part of Florida, where the climate is warm and humid for much of the year, so many people here are looking for a change of pace that feels far from ordinary errands. A week on St. John offers exactly that kind of quiet, with a slower rhythm and plenty of room to simply sit still. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you your own space to settle into, which suits anyone who wants to unwind without a crowded hotel corridor. Because villas are rented by the week, you can build your days around rest rather than a packed list of plans. Mornings can stay unhurried, afternoons can be spent reading or doing nothing at all, and evenings can be as simple as a quiet meal at home. Our local team can talk through which villa fits your group and answer your questions before you commit, so the week you picture is the week you actually get.

Reaching St. John from Waukeenah

  1. Getting to the island. Most visitors from Waukeenah fly into St. Thomas, the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little extra time for the handoffs between each leg, and keep your luggage manageable so the transfer feels easy rather than tiring at the end of a long trip.
  2. Choosing when to leave. Think about when you want your quiet week. Travelers from Florida are used to warm weather, so you may prefer a season that suits your own sense of comfort. Pick dates that feel calm for you, and check with our team early so the villa you want is still open. Booking ahead gives you more choice in villa size and layout.
  3. Planning the stay. Once you arrive, remember that driving on St. John is on the left, which may take a moment to adjust to. Many guests choose to stay close to the villa and let the pace of the island set the mood. Tell our team what kind of rest you are hoping for, whether that means a private pool, a shaded porch, or simply a quiet kitchen, and we will help you match your villa to that goal.
