The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and we help travelers from Sunny Isles Beach, Florida plan a beach-centered trip to villas at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.
Sunny Isles Beach sits on Florida's Atlantic coast, in the Southeast, so many of the people who live there already know what a good beach day feels like. A trip to St. John asks for something a little different: a slower pace, water that stays warm, and time spent on sand that is close to your front door. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are built for travelers who want that kind of stay. Your days can be simple here. Morning walks along the shoreline, a long swim, and an afternoon with a book under a shade umbrella tend to suit people who already spend their weekends by the ocean at home. St John Condos can talk through which villa fits your group, how many bedrooms you need, and what to expect before you commit to a week.

Planning your beach trip from Sunny Isles Beach
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there you take a taxi to Red Hook, then board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with that route in mind, and pack light, since you will be carrying your bags onto the ferry yourself.
- Choosing when to go. The Caribbean stays warm through most of the year, which makes it a steady choice for a beach-focused trip. Florida winters can feel mild by comparison, so many travelers from the Southeast find the islands are a welcome change in cooler months and a pleasant escape during the hottest weeks of summer too. Think about the season you enjoy most and book early.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives you room to settle in and let the beach set the schedule. Bring sun protection, reef-safe lotion, and water shoes for rocky entries. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, and that rental cars and local roads are best handled with some care and patience.
