The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos can answer questions from travelers in Rockledge, Florida, before you book a villa at the Westin St John Resort on St. John, US Virgin Islands. Their local team is glad to help you think through a full week on the island.
Rockledge sits on Florida's Space Coast, where the climate stays warm and humid for much of the year. Travelers from here often find the Caribbean feels familiar in temperature, yet different in pace and scenery. A week on St. John gives you room to slow down, explore the trails, and spend long mornings in the water without rushing from one attraction to the next. Staying in a villa changes how the week unfolds. Instead of a hotel room you leave each morning, you have a home base with space to cook, rest, and gather. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort let you settle in, plan your days around what you enjoy, and come back to a quiet place at the end of each outing.

Planning Your Week From Rockledge
- Getting to St. John. Most visitors from Rockledge fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT. From there, a taxi takes you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan a little extra room for the transfers, and remember that driving on the island is on the left side of the road.
- Choosing Your Travel Season. Florida travelers are used to warm weather, so the Caribbean's steady warmth may feel like a natural fit at almost any point in the year. Think about whether you prefer drier, calmer stretches or a quieter stretch of the calendar. Your choice shapes how busy the beaches and trails feel during your visit.
- Planning Your Stay. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a full island visit well. Decide early which days you want for beaches, which for hiking or snorkeling, and which for simply resting at your villa. Share your plans with the St John Condos team before booking so they can help you match the right villa to your week.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a rental car to explore St. John for a week?
Many visitors rent a vehicle to reach trailheads and beaches at their own pace. Remember that you drive on the left side of the road. If you prefer not to drive, plan your outings around taxis and the island's local transport, and ask the St John Condos team what works best for your villa.
Is a villa a better choice than a hotel for a week on St. John?
A villa gives you a kitchen, separate living space, and a place to unwind between adventures, which many travelers from Florida appreciate for a longer stay. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, so they fit a full island itinerary well. The St John Condos team can explain what each villa offers.
Can I ask questions before I decide on Villa Rentals?
