The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for a first Caribbean trip from Pittsville, Maryland, we can walk you through villa stays at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.
Pittsville sits in Maryland, a state in the Southeast region of the United States, and for many travelers from here a trip to the Caribbean is a first real step beyond the mainland. The climate of the islands is warm year round, which can feel very different from the seasons you know at home. Planning ahead makes that shift easier to enjoy. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give first-time visitors a practical way to settle in. You rent a home by the week, which means room to unpack, cook a few meals, and move at your own pace. If you are wondering whether this style of stay suits you, St John Condos is happy to talk it through before you commit to anything.

Getting from Pittsville to St. John
- Reach the islands by air. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, using the airport code STT, and that is the route we suggest for travelers leaving from Pittsville. From the airport, a taxi will take you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep your luggage manageable, since you will be carrying it onto the ferry yourself.
- Pick the right time to travel. Think about your own calendar before choosing dates, since the islands stay warm across the year and the main question is usually crowds and comfort. Many Pittsville travelers prefer to avoid the busiest school holiday weeks. Send us your preferred window and we will talk through how it fits your plans.
- Plan your villa stay. Villas are rented by the week, so decide how long you want to stay and what you hope to do each day. Think about groceries, rental car needs, and whether you want a quiet week or a full itinerary. Driving on St. John is on the left side of the road, which is worth remembering on your first day. We can help you match your plans to the right villa.
