The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Pemberwick plan a week away with friends at villas on the grounds of the Westin St John Resort. Ask us anything before you book, and we will walk you through the details.
A week with friends is one of the easiest reasons to rent a villa instead of booking separate rooms. Everyone gets their own space, the group keeps a shared place to gather, and nobody has to squeeze into a hotel corridor after a long day in the sun. Travelers leaving Pemberwick often find that a villa suits a group of old friends who want time together without a rigid schedule. Pemberwick sits in a state where winters are cold and gray, so many people here are ready for warm water and bright light when they plan a trip. The Westin St John Resort offers a setting that feels removed from ordinary routines, and our Villa Rentals give your group room to spread out. We can help you think through what a shared week should look like before anyone picks a date.

Planning a Week Away From Pemberwick
- Getting to the island. Most visitors from Connecticut fly into St. Thomas, the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ask your group to share flight details early so everyone can coordinate arrivals, luggage, and the ride to the ferry. Keep in mind that driving on the island is on the left side of the road, which matters if anyone plans to rent a car.
- Choosing when to leave. Connecticut winters are long, so many friends plan their week for the coldest months when a break feels most welcome. Talk through who can take time off and when, since a group of friends rarely lines up on the same dates. Once you have a rough window, let us know, and we can talk through what the Westin St John Resort area is like during that season before you commit.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which makes a seven-day trip a natural fit for a group. Decide early who is sharing which space, how meals will work, and whether you want a quiet week or a full calendar. Put one person in charge of collecting payments and keeping everyone updated. Your Villa Rentals choice can set the tone for the whole trip, so talk it through as a group.
