The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps couples from Olympia Heights, Florida plan a relaxed island getaway, with villas at the Westin St John Resort rented by the week and a local team ready to answer questions before you book.
Olympia Heights sits in the southern part of the country, where the warm months stretch long and the pace of life tends to slow once the weekend arrives. For couples who call this part of Florida home, a trip to the US Virgin Islands can feel like a welcome change of scenery, with clear water, quiet mornings, and a setting that asks very little of you beyond showing up and unwinding together. Many visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and catching the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay. Once you arrive, a villa at the Westin St John Resort gives you room to spread out, cook a quiet dinner, and keep your own schedule. Villa Rentals are a practical choice for two people who want privacy without giving up easy access to the island.

Planning your island trip from Olympia Heights
- Getting to St. John. Most travelers from Olympia Heights fly to the St. Thomas airport, which carries the code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, the passenger ferry carries you over to Cruz Bay. Plan for the ferry schedule and your luggage, and keep in mind that driving on St. John is on the left, which many couples find simple to adjust to once they settle in.
- Choosing when to go. Florida's own warm climate means the islands can feel familiar, but the Caribbean season has its own rhythm. Think about whether you prefer the drier stretch of the year or a quieter period when fewer visitors are around. Your choice affects how much time you want to spend on the water, on hikes, or simply relaxing on your villa's deck.
- Planning your stay. Villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, which suits couples who want a slower rhythm rather than a rushed itinerary. Decide how many days you want, which room layout fits your plans, and whether you want to cook in or dine out. The St John Condos team can talk through these choices with you before you commit.

Is a villa better than a hotel room for two people?
