The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that rents villas at the Westin St John Resort, and we answer questions for families in North Palm Beach before they book. Ask us anything about the villas and the trip.
North Palm Beach sits on the Florida coast, so many families here already know warm weather and time near the water. A trip to St. John, in the US Virgin Islands, offers something a little different, with hillside views, quiet beaches, and a pace that encourages everyone to slow down together. Most visitors reach the island by flying into St. Thomas, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give families room to spread out, cook a simple meal, and keep their own schedule. Villas are rented by the week, which suits a family that wants time to settle in rather than rushing from place to place. We are happy to talk through layouts and what each home offers before you commit.

Planning a family trip from North Palm Beach
- Getting to St. John. Most families from North Palm Beach fly to St. Thomas, the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Keep car seats and bulky gear in mind, because you will be handling bags at each stop. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so plan your rental car with that in mind.
- Choosing when to travel. Florida families often have school calendars that shape the calendar, so decide early which weeks suit your household. Think about the general climate of the islands, which stays warm year round, and whether you prefer a quieter stretch or a busier one. Booking early gives you more choice in villa sizes and layouts for the whole group.
- Planning the stay. Plan a rhythm for the week rather than a packed list. Settle the children in with a beach morning, leave afternoons open for rest, and cook a few meals at the villa to keep costs and routines simple. Share your family's needs with our team so we can point you toward the Villa Rentals that fit.
