The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and it can help friends from Melbourne Village, Florida plan a shared week of villa living at the Westin St John Resort.
Melbourne Village sits on Florida's Space Coast, where the warm climate is familiar to most of the group already. A week away with friends means splitting the work of planning, so the trip feels relaxed rather than rushed. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give your group shared space to gather, cook, and unwind together, which suits a crew that wants time side by side as much as time on the sand. Once the group agrees on a week, the details are easier to settle. Most visitors reach St. John by flying into St. Thomas, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. Driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone who plans to take the wheel should know that before arriving. Our team can walk you through each of these points before anyone books.

Planning your week from Melbourne Village
- Getting to the island. Most friends from Melbourne Village will connect through St. Thomas, the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there the passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ask each person to confirm their own flight details, and share one master list so the group arrives together and keeps luggage and plans in order.
- Choosing your timing. Because the islands stay warm year round, you can pick a week that suits your group rather than the weather alone. Compare work and school calendars across the crew, and talk through any holidays or events that matter to members. Once a window is clear, lock it in early so the villa you want is still open when everyone agrees.
- Setting up the villa. Villa Rentals are booked by the week, which keeps the group's budget and schedule simple to follow. Decide early who handles groceries, who tracks shared costs, and who plans the outings. Send your questions to our team before booking, and we will help you match the number of bedrooms and shared spaces to the size of your group.
