Planning a milestone trip from Manasota Key

  1. Getting to the island. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, airport code STT, then take a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. The ferry is the usual final leg before you reach the resort. Pack light where you can, since you will be carrying your bags between the taxi, the boat, and your villa. If you plan to rent a car on St. John, remember that driving is on the left.
  2. Choosing the right season. Florida visitors often pick the island's drier months for a celebration, when the weather is most comfortable and outdoor dinners feel easy. Think about the date of your milestone first, then work backward. Talk with the St John Condos team about which weeks suit your group, what your guests can expect from the weather, and how to fit the trip around family schedules.
  3. Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives your group space for a welcome dinner, a relaxed morning, and a celebration on the final night. Share your guest list early so the team can recommend a layout that fits everyone. Ask about the Westin St John Resort amenities you want most, and let the team handle the logistics so you can focus on the occasion.
