The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps couples in King Salmon, Alaska, plan a quiet island getaway at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals that give you room to slow down together.
King Salmon sits on the Alaska Peninsula in the West, a long way from warm water and sandy beaches. For a couple who has spent a lot of time in cold, quiet country, St. John offers a different kind of pace. The island is in the US Virgin Islands, where the weather stays warm through most of the year and the days move at a relaxed rhythm that many travelers find restful. Planning a trip this far from home takes a little thought, and that is where we can help. St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, so you can talk through dates, villa choices, and what to expect on the island. Villa Rentals at the Westin St John Resort give couples a private base with room to cook a simple breakfast, read on a porch, and take their time.

Your getaway from King Salmon to St. John
- Getting to the islands. Most visitors reach St. John by flying to St. Thomas, airport code STT, then taking a taxi to Red Hook and the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. - Choosing when to leave. Leaving Alaska for the islands means moving from cold winters or cool summers into a warm, tropical climate, so think about what season you want to feel. Many couples choose a stretch away from the busiest travel periods, which can make the trip feel calmer. Tell us which months work for you, and we will help you match your dates with the villa that fits your plans.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives couples time to settle in rather than rush from one place to the next.
