The Westin St John Resort

St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for travelers from Heritage Bay, Florida, planning a long-awaited splurge on St. John, we can help you think through villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort.

A trip to St. John is the kind of thing many people in Heritage Bay talk about for years before they book it. For a splurge that has been waiting on the calendar, the details matter, and it helps to take your time with them. St. John sits in the US Virgin Islands, a long way from the Florida sunshine you already know, yet close enough in climate that you will recognize the warmth. The island has a slower rhythm that many visitors find worth the planning. Villas at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, which suits a trip you have dreamed about for a long stretch of time. Rather than squeezing a getaway into a short weekend, you can settle in and let the days stretch out. Our team at St John Condos reviews those options with you before anything is confirmed, so the choice feels considered rather than rushed. Bring your questions, and we will answer them plainly.

Planning your splurge from Heritage Bay

  1. Reaching the island. Most visitors fly to St. Thomas, airport code STT, then take a taxi to Red Hook and catch the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay. From there, you are on St. John itself. Plan a little buffer for the ferry connection so the arrival feels relaxed, not frantic. Ask us about the transfer details when you contact the team so you know exactly what to expect before you leave Heritage Bay.
  2. Choosing your season. Florida travelers often assume any warm month will do, but the islands have their own seasons and rhythms. Think about whether you want a quieter stretch or a livelier one, and what suits your schedule and budget goals for this trip. Hurricane season runs through the warmer months, so check current guidance before you lock in dates. We can talk through the seasons with you honestly.
  3. Settling into your villa. Once you have dates in mind, decide how much space and privacy you want for a stay of a week or more. Villa Rentals at the resort give you room to spread out, cook a few meals, and keep your own pace. Note that driving on St. John is on the left, which catches many people off guard, so plan your transportation accordingly. Let us know your plans and we will help you shape the stay.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to rent a car on St. John?

Many visitors find a rental useful for getting around the island, but driving is on the left, so take that into account before you decide. Some guests prefer to arrange taxis and stay close to their villa. Tell us how you hope to spend your days, and we will help you weigh the choice without any pressure.

Why book a villa instead of a standard room for a special trip?

A villa gives you more space, a kitchen for quiet meals in, and the freedom to set your own schedule for the week. For a long-planned splurge, that extra room often makes the stay feel like the trip you pictured. Our team can compare the options with you directly.
