The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for a week away with friends from East Williston, Florida, we can help you sort out villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort on St. John.
A week away with friends asks for a little more room than a hotel room can offer. Traveling as a group from East Williston, Florida, you want shared space to gather in the evenings, separate rooms for everyone, and a place where nobody feels crowded. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort are rented by the week, which suits a group that wants to settle in rather than move between lodgings. Florida's warm climate will feel familiar to your group, though the Caribbean setting brings its own pace and character. Most of your planning will revolve around a few practical choices: how many bedrooms your group needs, how you will share costs and chores, and how you will get across to the island. Talking those points through early keeps the trip relaxed once everyone arrives.

Planning a week away with friends from East Williston
- Reaching St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there, a passenger ferry carries you across to Cruz Bay on St. John. Group members flying in from different parts of Florida can plan to meet at the airport so the taxi ride is shared, and you can confirm the ferry arrangements before you leave home.
- Choosing your departure. Florida winters are mild by comparison with northern states, but a Caribbean week offers a different kind of warmth. Think about which dates suit everyone's work and school schedules, and aim for a stretch when your group can all leave together. Booking a little ahead gives your friends time to arrange their own time off and plan their connections.
- Planning the stay. Settle on the number of bedrooms and the split of costs before you book, so nobody is surprised later. Decide who will handle groceries, who keeps track of shared expenses, and what your plans are for days out. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so anyone renting a car should be ready for that. Your St John Condos contact can walk you through availability for villa rentals.
