The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos is a local team that answers questions before you book, and for travelers from Crofton, Maryland, a quiet week to unwind on St. John can be planned with plenty of time to ask about villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort.
Crofton sits in the Southeast of the country, in Maryland, where the seasons shift from mild springs to humid summers and winters that bring cold weather. For many people from here, that contrast makes a warm island feel like a real change of pace. A week on St. John offers a slower rhythm, with mornings that begin without much to rush toward and evenings that wind down easily. Villa rentals suit a quiet week well because they give you a private home base rather than a shared hallway. You can keep your own schedule, cook a simple meal, and sit outside when the mood strikes. The Westin St John Resort sits within reach of that calm, and St John Condos can talk through which villa fits the way you like to rest before you commit.

Planning your quiet week from Crofton
- Getting to the island. Most visitors from the Crofton area fly into St. Thomas, which uses the airport code STT. From there, a taxi carries you to Red Hook, where you board the passenger ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Plan your connections with patience, and keep in mind that driving on St. John is on the left, so you may prefer to rely on taxis for your first few days.
- Choosing your season. Maryland winters are cold, so many travelers from here find that any season away from those months feels like relief. Think about when you most want warmth and quiet, and remember that a calm week often suits the slower parts of the year. Ask St John Condos which dates keep your villa available before you settle on a plan.
- Planning the stay. Villas are rented by the week, which gives you room to slow down without counting every day. Decide early whether you want a fully rested week with few plans, or a few gentle outings between long stretches of reading and rest. Share your preferences with the St John Condos team, who will help you match your Villa Rentals choice to the quiet you are after.
