The Westin St John Resort
St John Condos helps travelers from Cordova, Maryland, plan a long-awaited splurge at the Westin St John Resort, with villa rentals set up before you book. Their local team answers questions first, so the trip you have imagined for years can come together with fewer unknowns.
For many people in Cordova, the Caribbean has been a picture on the wall for years, a plan put off until the timing felt right. A splurge like this deserves care, and that starts with knowing what you are choosing. Villa rentals at the Westin St John Resort give you a private home base on an island known for its quiet, green hillsides and clear water, rather than a standard hotel room. Coming from a state on the East Coast, you will notice how different island life feels. Days move at a gentler pace, meals often happen on your own terrace, and evenings are as relaxed as you want them to be. Because villas are rented by the week, you can settle in, unpack properly, and let the trip feel like yours instead of a rushed visit.

Planning Your Splurge from Cordova
- Reaching St. John. Most visitors fly into St. Thomas, which has the airport code STT, and then take a taxi to Red Hook. From there you catch the passenger ferry across to Cruz Bay on St. John. It is a simple sequence, and the St John Condos team can talk you through each leg before you commit, so nothing about the journey catches you off guard once you arrive.
- Choosing Your Season. Maryland winters are cold, so many travelers from Cordova are drawn to the islands during the colder months at home, when a warm beach feels like the best possible reward. Think about what you want from the trip, whether that is quiet mornings, active days, or simply rest. Share those preferences with the team and they will help you pick dates that suit you.
- Planning the Villa Stay. Start by choosing a villa rental that fits how you like to travel, then set your dates and any special touches you want for the occasion. Remember that driving on St. John is on the left, so think about whether you want a car or prefer to rely on the resort and short local trips. Ask the team anything at all before booking, so your splurge feels settled.
